(Original Text German) Kann man denn in einer Galerie herumgehen und sagen: Dieses
Bild ist erhaben und dieses ist nicht erhaben? Es lenkt viel zu
sehr von der Selbstkompositionsleistung eines Kunstwerks ab, wenn
man einen solchen Begriff in die Diskussion einbringt. Das
Erhabene ist ein Abwehrbegriff für Beliebigkeit, aber wenn
man Kunstwerke anschaut, sind sie alles andere als
beliebig.
